Keynote Speaker: Siobhan Maclean 
 
Siobhan has been a registered Social Worker since 1990 and is now a
trainer and consultant in Social Care and Social Work and is registered as a Practice
Educator. Co Author and Author to many publications, the latest of which is ‘Share – A New
Model for Social Work
’, Siobhan will be highlighting the importance of supervision and
reflection at this year’s conference.
 
This conference will provide practice educators and on-site supervisors with the skills and
knowledge required to provide effective, critically reflective supervision to social work
students.
 
In the afternoon a range of workshops will be on offer and these will include innovative and
practical tools to assist the teaching, supervision and assessment of students.
 
 
There will be no charge to attend the conference but numbers are limited and we are
operating on a first come first served basis. Please note: if you are unable to attend after
making your booking, please cancel your place as soon as possible as we operate a waiting
list.
 
Lunch will be provided.
 
NB: there are no parking facilities on site; all delegates should look for parking via the
local public carparks.
